The Boys had a busy session in 2014/2015:

We had a Simpsons night where the Boys took part in various related activities, we made Homer's favourite snack - donuts! We also helped Krusty the Clown design a new Krusty Burger and watched a short episode of the Simpsons on the big screen.

The Boys also had a visit from the Critter Keeper. The Boys were introduced to his 'Critter Crew' which included an exotic frog, cockroach, bearded dragon, scorpion, cobra, hedgehog, tortoise, tarantula, giant snail and Smaug his enormous Iquana.

The Junior Section have learned some basic orienteering, with the Boys making their own compass and taking part in a treasure trail around the Church.

On Remembrance Sunday our Boys commemorated the lives of 4 former members who lost their lives during the 1st World War. At our Church's Remembrance Sunday Service at South St Nicholas Kincorth, our Junior Section recreated a drumhead service whist paying tribute to the 4 men listed below. Our Anchor Boys joined with members of the Sunday School to plant poppy crosses in memory of other men and women connected to the church who lost their lives in both World Wars.

We had our usual Christmas Party with Boys taking part in the usual party games such as 'pass the parcel' and 'musical chairs'. This was followed up by party food and ice-cream and jelly.

The Junior Section Christmas treat was an outing to the Aberdeen Snowsports Centre where they enjoyed an evening of tubing, sliding down the slopes at great speed on their inflatable rings.

At the start of 2015, eleven of our Anchor Boys attended a Medieval Fun Day. This took place at Battalion headquarters, with us joining over fifty Boys from BB Companies across Aberdeen. The day included themed races and games, crafts with Boys having to design and paint their own shield. To top the day off we even had a Bouncy Castle, which the Boys enjoyed.

Again this year, the Juniors entered the Battalion Bisset Trophy Competition. This included: having to learn and perform a complex figure marching routine, crafts, races, potted sports and a quiz. We won both the crafts competition, the Boys had to design a Mother's Day card, and the quiz, the Boys had to answer a series of general knowledge and Bible knowledge questions. For the second year in a row, we came home with the runners-up trophy.

The Juniors again entered Aberdeen Battalion's uni-hoc competition. We had 9 Boys who represented the Company in a series of games at Danestone Community Centre

Our final outing of the year was a special treat for the Juniors as we took them to play Lasertag and went for a bite to eat afterwards.
